German DTH provider revises offer

German DTH platform Fernsehpaket is to change the line-up of its pay-TV package “fernsehen für mich” from 1 September.
The health channel Focus Gesundheit, which recently announced its closure, will be replaced by action sports channel Fuel TV.
A new addition to the bouquet will be Trace Tropical, a music channel for the fans of tropical, Latin-American and Caribbean music. Sports channel sportdigital, which used to be offered as a stand-alone service, will be included automatically for new subscribers in the “fernsehen für mich” package.
Also from 1 September, movie channel Silverline Movie Channel which used to be part of the package will be marketed as a stand-alone service which can be added to each bouquet.
Fernsehpaket can be subscribed to by DTH satellite households in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on Eurobird 9A (9° Ost). Conax is used as the encryption system.
